Data and Reporting Coordinator, Advancement Information Systems

The Office of Institutional Advancement is looking for a Data and Reporting Coordinator to serve as the intake manager and data distributor for the Advancement Information Systems (AIS) and provide a full range of data reporting duties and responsibilities. This critical position will partner with Institutional Advancement staff to assist in the day to day management of data quality and execution for fundraising and engagement campaigns across all channels and departments which requires a high degree of attention to detail and confidentiality.

In addition, this position will work within the Advancement Information Services department to ensure that Institutional Advancement and other campus partners have access to the data and information needed to meet performance goals and advance the mission of the university. This role will design and produce timely and accurate reports, queries, lists, and other data media to support fundraising efforts of the University, and fulfill external data requests.

A high school diploma (or GED) and a minimum of three years' experience in a general office environment involving considerable computer work is required. Ideally, work related experience will have been gained in a higher education environment with emphasis on fundraising in an advancement or development office, however, an equivalent or similar experience in a business environment will also be considered.

The Data and Reporting Coordinator is expected to: demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness; be a self-starter with strong sense of discipline, problem-solving ability, sound judgment and follow-through; have the ability to read, analyze and interpret information; be adept at adhering to critical policies, procedures and quality control in relation to Advancement information and data; have strong interpersonal (oral and written) and organizational skills; be comfortable working with technology and related hardware/software; and have experience with Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
