Financial Assistant 3/4
Penn State Law and School of International Affairs at The Pennsylvania State University is seeking a Financial Assistant to assist the finance office in processing transactions related to the operation of two schools.
Primary responsibilities will be assisting with procurement functions and accounts payables including purchasing card reconciliations and/or approvals, non-PO invoice payments, and purchase order invoice processing. This will include inputting or reviewing forms in Simba, SAP Concur and Shop Onlion. This position will also provide general financial support to finance office.
The successful candidate for this position must possess:
- Demonstrated financial knowledge with strong attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal and communications skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize deadlines.
This job will be filled as a level 3 or level 4, depending upon the successful candidate's competencies, education, and experience. Typically requires a high school diploma or higher and 3+ years related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience for a level 3. Additional experience and/or education and competencies are required for higher level jobs. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Penn State systems is preferred.
