Job Summary

Reporting to and under the general supervision of the Co-Director of the Redwood Coast K16 Collaborative (Co-Director), the K16 Collaborative Analyst performs a variety of administrative, analytical and technical duties to support the Redwood Coast K16 Collaborative program. This support includes performing a wide variety of administrative tasks of limited to moderate complexity requiring the use of independent judgment to make decisions, interpret, and apply unit, campus and system-wide policies and procedures, perform research when needed, prepare and analyze budgetary and other financial reports, provide support documentation and provide general office assistance in support of the program. Responsibilities also include meeting extensive deadlines with internal and external clients of a sensitive/confidential nature, providing day-to-day administration of various Redwood Coast K16 Collaborative programs and processes, and coordinating various projects as assigned. Assignments require handling of multiple work priorities and accountability for own work results. Contacts involve interaction with all levels inside and outside the university, and may include dealing with sensitive and confidential information.

Key Qualifications

This position requires a bachelor's degree and/or the equivalent training and administrative work experience involving study, analysis, and/or evaluation leading to the development or improvement of administrative policies, procedures, practices, or programs. Knowledge of SSU credential programs and general knowledge of admissions requirements and knowledge of and/or experience working with P-12 school community and/or State Agencies and CSU Chancellor's Office preferred. Advanced proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) is required. Knowledge of Google Suite, and other cloud computing software, Drupal, Adobe Creative Suite, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and PeopleSoft preferred.

Salary and Benefits

Starting salary placement depends on qualifications and experience and is anticipated to be in the range of $3,518 to $4,415 a month. This is a full time, temporary, non-exempt position funded through June 2026. Annual reappointment to this position is dependent upon the individual's performance as well as administrative and budgetary considerations. The university reserves the right to terminate this appointment earlier than the scheduled expiration date.

This position is eligible for a broad range of benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurances, retirement (CalPERS), tuition waiver, vacation and sick leave. In addition, 15 paid holidays are offered each year and a Personal Holiday that may be taken any time during the year. Sonoma State University is also a Public Service Loan Forgiveness Program (PSLF) Employer.
